Câu này tuỳ ngữ cảnh có thể hiểu xê dịch chút ít, nhưng ý nghĩa thì gần giống nhau.

Trong chuyên mục "Lãnh đạo trong kỷ nguyên mới" của báo Vietnamnet (http://www.lanhdao.net/leadership/) họ dịch là: "Chẳng bao giờ là quá muộn để trở thành người mà lẽ ra bạn phải trở thành"

Great!
But according to one's situation and social situation, the way will be long or short.
And it also belongs to levels of hardship and luckiness.
That is all what I think.

I just agree with you about luckiness (its role is not too much, some percentage that no one knows exactly, but we know that it exists).
The world that we are living in is so colourful, half easy, half complex but nothing is impossible. No matter what of a person's situation and social level (if we accept this for a while), anyone has the same chance. Why? we live on Earth only once, we have basic instinct for survival.

I think the differences are belief & effort on what one intends to become.
